Elite Golf facilities will utilize a rental program to offer clubs, possibly shoes and other items to guests that require them. Rental equipment will be kept in good condition and updated periodically to keep them fresh for the guests. Each facilities program may differ but the Elite Golf basics will remain the same.
Elite Golf Basic Rental Program Procedures
- A fair and competitive fee will be charged to the guest.
- The rental equipment must be paid for in the golf shop prior to the guest taking the equipment.
- The guest must sign a rental agreement form using a credit card to hold the rental equipment.
- The rental equipment will be checked out to the guest.
- A staff member will go over the rental equipment and explain all features and items included with the rental equipment.
- A staff member will make sure the guest understands that all items reviewed must be returned at the end of the round.
- The rental equipment will be checked back in when returned.
- A staff member will review the returned rental equipment with the guest to make sure that all items have been returned. If an item is missing, the staff member will notify the golf shop immediately.
- A rental log will be used to track rental usage and staff issuing the rental equipment.
- The rental equipment will be cleaned daily and stored properly for inventorying.
Billing the guest
The guest will be charged before they may acquire any rental equipment. The guest must fill out a rental agreement and use a credit card to hold the rental equipment. When the guest returns the rental equipment, their agreement will be shredded if the equipment is in the same shape as they took it out. If something should happen to the rental equipment, the guest may be liable for damages or loss.
