Fee Structures
Elite Golf will offer various rates throughout the year to stay competitive and affordable for our guests. Rates may change throughout the year based on seasons, daily play, promotions, etc. Different regions will require different fee types and areas within those regions may require further analysis. Fee types and booking windows will vary from club to club and will be set by management with insight from the golf operation and sales team.
Fee types may also be classified into weekday and weekend rates depending on the region and area. Weekday rates will be lower than weekends and run from Monday through Thursday. Weekend rates will be used on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Holidays may fall under the weekend fee type at management’s discretion.
Elite Golf sees the need to accommodate different guest’s types in the various regions and areas within those regions. The region and area that the club is in will dictate exotic guest types, but there will always be the Elite Golf standards. Guest types may also be subject to different booking windows. Generally the higher the guest rate is the larger the booking window where the lower the rate, the smaller the booking window. Below are some of the Elite Golf standard guest or fee types with an approximate gauge in rate and booking window for that guest type.
Elite Golf Standard Fee Structures
Member: A member guest type or annual pass holder refers to a guest that has paid a yearly or monthly fee to belong to the facility. This guest type may or may not have to pay additional fees each time they play. Booking windows can vary at facilities.
Resident: A resident guest type refers to a guest that lives in the immediate surrounding area. This guest type will pay one of the lowest rates and have one of the shortest booking windows.
Rack Rate: A rack rate refers to a guest that lives outside the immediate area and is not considered a resident. This guest type will pay the highest rate and have the largest booking window outside of a group/event.
Junior Rate: Juniors are considered any person under the age of 18. Depending on the facility and ownerships needs, the junior rate may be complimentary when walking the course. Juniors old enough to rent a golf cart will pay the applicable rate to rent the golf cart while their green fee is complimentary. The booking window for a junior will be at management’s discretion.
PGA Professionals: PGA professionals and apprentices in good standing may be complimentary or pay a reduced rate as long as a courtesy call has been made in advance of their play. Local golf course employees may be granted the same privileges if their head golf professional calls in advance to setup their round. Non PGA employees may be required to pay a cart fee or reduced rate at the facilities discretion. Play is subject to availability and at the discretion of ownership and management.
Broker: A broker is a company outside of Elite Golf Management that will help in reserving guest tee times. For providing their service, a broker will receive a reduced rate off of the rack rate. Generally a flat fee set by executive management will be taken off the rack rate and charged directly to the broker making the reservation. The guest playing under the broker’s reservation will not pay the golf course, but pay the broker instead. A broker’s booking window will be the same as a rack rate booking window.
Replay: A replay guest is one that has already played 18 holes and chooses to play another round. The replay rate may range somewhere between the twilight rate and the resident rate.
Twilight: Generally a twilight guest is playing in the evening and may not finish their round due to darkness. Twilight rates may also be used during the summer or winter to promote play during slow parts of the day. The twilight rate will be one of the lowest rates. The twilight booking window may be the same or lower than the resident booking window.
Exotic Fee Structures
Casino Employee: This employee works for a casino and can produce an employee badge. A casino employee has a short booking window, but receives a reduced rate off of the resident rate.
Golf Package: A golf package guest is one that is staying at a hotel that Elite Golf has made arrangements with. The guest is paying for a package to include room and golf. The booking window for a golf package may be the same as a rack rate.
